Zodiac Goat

In ancient Chinese, the character for goat was closely tied to the word for "auspicious," so the Goat has long stood for harmony and good fortune; a classic New Year blessing even plays on "three goats" to wish for good luck ahead. In Chinese astrology, the Goat, Pig and Rabbit form the Wood Trine: three signs traditionally seen as kindred spirits who bring out the best in each other. People keep this figure as a symbol of good fortune, a harmonious family and support from helpful people.
